There are several FIATs I would be happy to have in my garage – including but not limited to the Dino (Coupé over Spider), the 130 Coupé, 124 Coupé, 2300S Coupé…there seems to be a theme here…but I also like the 130 Berlina and X19 (pre-big bumper model).

That looks like a very successful first attempt at a high-end concours, some beautiful classics there – not least the winning Lancia, gorgeous! – yet also enough of the hypercars to satisfy the horsepower addicts. Hopefully the weather will be kinder next year!

Could be any one of a number of extreme wedge-shaped cars, reduced to the most basic lines, but the one it brings to my mind is the Lancia Stratos, especially this one-off design study I saw at the NEC a couple of years ago.

An interesting story about a car I’ve never heard of, and both road and track versions of the Bianco look pretty cool, in my opinion. The green one you mention, Claus, does indeed look tremendous – and I don’t generally like green on cars other than the British Racing variety – as does the red one for sale. ViaRETRO is educational as well as fun!

Just about my favourite exterior colour on a classic is yellow (per my BMW 2002), but most of the yellow cars I have seen had a black interior (as did mine), which is not my favourite. @niels v – with regard to the Muntz, it seems they don’t all look the same – see photo – though most of them do have the front bumper arrangement of the one in the photo you posted. As to the number, which comes from the museum, the word “believed” is the key here ;-).

@Jens, yes, John Surtees would be the first 507 owner I would think of, ahead of Elvis or Stuck, though that may just be because I’m British. Whatever, for me, the 507 is an all-time great design, one for my dream garage.

When the 190 first came out, I wasn’t very impressed – I thought it looked too plain to carry the three-pointed star. However, in recent years, it has grown on me, and I’d be quite happy to own a 190E, with the 2.0-litre engine as a minimum, and with the 2.5, maybe even above an E30 325i…

I was never a fan of the XJ-S, although the convertible was OK, I guess, but the Lister didn’t improve an already ungainly car and this restomod…if it ends up looking like the visualisation, well, you got the title right – a Frankenstein of a car, too much of everything except style, of which it has none.
